Welcome to Ashworth View
Nursery & Pre-School
About Us
From the Beginning
At Ashworth View, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating, welcoming environment for all children. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, whilst always keeping the child’s best interests in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning.
Ashworth View Private Day Nursery and Pre-school is nestled in a beautiful rural setting between Norden Village and Turn Village, on Edenfield Road, Norden. We are registered for 90 children from 0-8 years.

Our Mission
At Ashworth View we aim to:
Give each child their own individual voice, listening to their interests, experiences and ideas about the world.
Using these individual ideas to create a personalised and creative journey of learning and development together.
Provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment through a holistic approach for all children to play, learn and develop freely.
Help children to develop responsibility for themselves and their actions and to become competent, confident, resilient, independent and co-operative individuals.
Encourage children to have a positive attitude and respect themselves and other people.
Promote a positive relationship with parents, carers and multi-agency professionals and work in partnership with them to provide high-quality teaching and learning, and care for their children.
Provide a professional team that is experienced, enthusiastic and committed, well trained, and well supported.
Promote enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and confidence to celebrate achievements, persevere through challenge and learn together.
To share a love for reading and language – sharing stories and songs every day.
Provide a curriculum that embraces social, physical, moral and intellectual development giving children all the experiences that will support their School Readiness, British Values and Cultural Capital.
Our Gallery
"Staff are good role models who provide children with constant praise and encouragement. Children know what is expected of them, behave well, are happy and settled and display good levels of confidence and self-esteem.
Regular monitoring of children's progress is in place. Overall, this is used well by staff to ensure that educational programmes have depth and breadth across all areas of learning.
Staff help children to extend their knowledge of the local community and gain an appreciation of how to keep themselves safe outside of the nursery. Children benefit greatly from the wealth of visits and trips organised by the staff.
Staff help children to understand the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. Children enjoy nutritionally balanced meals and snacks and have access to a well-resourced outdoor area.
Clear and focused self-evaluation shows that there is continuous improvement in the quality of care and education provided for children."
